My double room with air conditioning and good size bathroom was well-equipped. Had perfect and particularly good location close to historic area...

Unfortunately Wi-Fi signal was not very good.

The staff were amiable all the time. There were stunning and huge rooms with large beds.

Casa Lavinia is the most beautiful guesthouse I have seen in Brazil. The colonial house is spacious and elegant, with high ceilings and beautiful tropical wood furniture. The oriental-style Padronal room with its mosaic-tiled bathroom was tasteful and exquisite. The perfect location in the historical city center made it easy to explore Sao Luis. The facilities were clean and spacious, the breakfast delicious, and the French host, Franck, was very helpful and organized an incredible trip to Lençois National Park.
